It was a great opportunity to encourage those already involved in the JLP to continue contributing to the program. It was also an opportunity to forge new ties with union representatives - and strengthen existing ones - to promote effective collective action.

Participants enjoyed the promotional materials, including the 25th-anniversary pouch, which was a huge hit. Several people even commented that the JLP booth was the most dazzling.

Regional Field Coordinators Andrés Damphousse (employer) and Michaëlle Antoine (union) welcomed several visitors to the booth throughout the day.

The theme of the event, “Build Inspiring Leadership for Tomorrow, Together,” fully meets the JLP’s mandate to strengthen labour-management relations, and develop new tools to better handle the changes affecting federal organizations.

The event was a great opportunity for the JLP to show how its mandate aligns with this theme. It also encouraged participants to get involved as facilitators, and to organize and facilitate JLP workshops in their respective workplaces.
