Forging PSAC connections in the Prairies
The Joint Learning Program (JLP) was well represented at the PSAC Prairies 10th Triennial Convention, held in Calgary, Alberta, June 5–7, 2026.
Prairies/NWT Regional Field Coordinator Mindy Mackie was joined by JLP facilitators from across the region to connect with more than 200 delegates attending the convention. Together, they shared information about JLP workshops, highlighted the value of joint union-management learning and promoted opportunities for members to become facilitators.

The convention provided an excellent opportunity to engage with delegates, answer questions about the program, and showcase how JLP workshops support collaboration, respect, and learning in workplaces across the Prairies and Northwest Territories.
