Two people sit at a JLP kioskThe PSAC held four triennial conferences over five days in Montreal. The JLP held a kiosk for two of those days, meeting many of the attendees from across the country. Racialized members, Indigenous peoples, members with disabilities and members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community gathered in Montreal to network, discuss current issues and events, put forth resolutions and elect representatives. In total, over 500 people gathered at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel from October 18-22.

Michael Van Nen, Regional Field Coordinator (union) for the British Columbia-Yukon region, and Deirdre Brown, Communications, Outreach and Promotion Officer for the Program, met PSAC members from all parts of Canada to talk about the JLP and its expanding program offerings, including the latest Occupational Health and Safety training that will be launched in the new year. Attendees were keen to learn about all that the JLP has to offer to public-service employees.
