The theme was “Breaking barriers for growth.”  JLP-Quebec Regional Field Coordinators Andrée Damphousse (employer) and Michèle Parent (union) co-facilitated an introductory activity to provide participants with a better understanding of the JLP learning approach and the contents of the Mental Health in the Workplace kit. As the photo shows, they also had the opportunity to meet managers at their table.

They introduced attendees to the JLP and set up a booth to provide information about the various in-person workshops and virtual discussions offered by the JLP. They also used the opportunity to actively recruit potential new facilitators. The JLP is especially interested in recruiting new facilitators from marginalized communities to better reflect the diversity within the federal public service.

They reconnected with several of their fellow JLP facilitators who commented on the benefits of the various workshops in which they participated, either as facilitators or participants.

Several delegates visited the JLP booth to discuss learning opportunities, and many of them expressed interest in joining the Program’s facilitation team.
