The JLP at the GSU Young Workers’ Conference

The JLP delivered a teaser session at the Government Services Union (GSU) Young Workers’ Conference on December 1, 2022 in Ottawa. The GSU Young Workers’ Conference offers members of the GSU across Canada an opportunity to gather, connect and learn from each other. Combining skill-building workshops and guest speakers, the conference offers young workers tools to grow in leadership.

The JLP in-person session gave participants a sample of exercises from two popular JLP learning opportunities, the Respecting Differences and Anti-Discrimination in-person workshop as well as the guided discussion the JLP offers online, Anti-Racism: Let’s Talk!

The JLP actively supports anti-racism and anti-discrimination through its various learning activities which emphasize respect, inclusion, non-discrimination and safety for all employees in the federal public service. Learn more about the workshops and guided discussions offered by the JLP.
