JLP at the AccessAbility Week of Environment and Climate Change Canada
The JLP had the opportunity to host a kiosk a the Accessibility Week organized by ECCC on May 30-31.
The event focused on accessibility in the workplace. Regional Field Coordinators, Deirdre Brown and Patrick Rosemond promoted the Duty to Accommodate and Mental Health in the Workplace workshops as a way to develop an appreciation of how everyone benefits from healthy and inclusive workplaces.
Employees and managers showed great interest in the JLP and managers were particularly curious about accommodation obligations, especially the Inclusive by Design approach.
JLP is pleased to offer workshops that improve labour relations, contribute to building inclusive workplaces and foster psychological health and safety.
