The JLP at a National Managers’ Community Event, Ontario Region

On November 1-2, 2016, the National Managers’ Community - in partnership with the Canada School of Public Service - hosted a Managers’ Exchange 2016 at the Evergreen Brick Works in Toronto, Ontario.  This conference drew 300 Managers from across Ontario to listen to distinguished keynote speakers, participate in workshops and network with each other.

This event had the following objectives:

  • To provide an opportunity for managers and aspiring managers to network and learn together, further strengthening their community
  • To examine management and leadership styles that contribute to public service excellence
  • To discover innovative tools and practices to cultivate engagement and productivity

The Ontario/Nunavut JLP Regional Field Coordinators, Teresa Morgan and Ryan Winger, hosted a kiosk at this event in order to promote the Joint Learning Program and the benefits of JLP workshops in workplaces.

The JLP was proud to attend this event and liaise with managers in the community!
