December 3rd is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities

This year, the theme of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities is Inclusion matters: access and empowerment of people of all abilities. The Day was created in order to promote an understanding of disability issues and to mobilize support for the dignity, rights and well-being of persons with disabilities. The JLP offers a selection of workshops that addresses many aspects of the integration and empowerment of persons with disabilities within the workplace. Whether we think of the Mental Health in the Workplace, the Duty to Accommodate, the Employment Equity or the recently launched new edition of the Respecting Differences and Anti-Discrimination workshops, the JLP can bring valuable tools to your workplace to promote a better understanding about disability issues. JLP workshops can also equip employees in finding their own strategies to counter stereotyping and stigma towards persons with disabilities.
